It’s been stated over and over again. Do not drive while playing Pokemon GO. The game makes a really terrible excuse for distracted driving. Accidents happen, people could get hurt, and others could be killed. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened in Tokyo on Tuesday evening. A driver playing the game struck two pedestrians: killing one.

The man admitted to police officials that he was playing Pokemon GO at the time of the accident. He, of course, was arrested. This was the first tragic death in the country that involves the game itself. It was a horrific event that we all hope will never be repeated. I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say that our thoughts are most definitely with the victims and their family.
