As weeks continue to fly by without any improvements, fans of Pokemon GO are turning against it pretty hard. I feel for Niantic. I really do. They worked noticeably hard to finish and release Pokemon GO. They made a really great game on an exceedingly fun idea. I wager they simply weren’t prepared to deal with the immense popularity it gained.
Their biggest issue has been communication. I mean the fact that there isn’t any. It came as a surprise when they just removed the tracking feature instead of fixing it. There was no warning about it. There was no chance for community input. They are also silent on the cornerstone of Pokemon, trading. That’s no so bad. New features take time to implement. It is just that all players are in the dark about anything going on at Niantic. And it’s starting to make people noticeably angry. Oh, and players didn’t like how they shut down the third party cheating apps, but that’s less of an issue.
So please, Niantic, return our calls. Answer our emails. We’re not mad, just disappointed. We want to continue to be obsessed with Pokemon GO. We’re trying hard to do that. We just need a little help is all. Please?
