Sometimes, it seems government officials have way too much free time. Another such situation has come up in Milwaukee County. Milwaukee County Parks Director, John Dargle claims that Niantic has violated the county’s regulations. Dargle says that until Niantic files for a permit, they have no right to operate in county parks.

This is a familiar tale. We mentioned earlier that Iran said that Pokemon GO is not allowed within their borders until Niantic seeks permission from their Supreme Council of Virtual Space. That situation is a bit different, though. Not only had Pokemon GO not been released in the country, but their concerns also consist of their security and privacy.

Dargle compares Pokemon GO with organizations who want to sponsor events in the parks. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think having a Pokestop at a water fountain is the same as running an unsanctioned barbecue on park grounds.
