To no one’s surprise, Pokemon GO has broken another record. And yes, it’s money again. Sales and users for the hit game may have stabilized, but that hasn’t stopped Pokemon GO from reaching another huge milestone. Venture Beat has reported an image from App Annie showing that the game has made $600 million in sales in its first 90 days. That is astounding.
This new figures blows away any of the competition. The nearest competitor is Candy Crush Saga which took over 200 days to reach this goal. This means Pokemon GO reached this milestone more than 2.5 times faster than the next best performer. Now, again, the app’s popularity has begun to stabilize recently. So there will eventually come a time when it stops shattering records. However, that day is not today.
