The highly anticipated Nintendo Pokemon Direct stream took place this morning, and they announced three new Pokemon games that will be coming to both the Nintendo Switch and the 3DS. Although these are technically new games, they are revamped versions of older games and not exactly what people were hoping for, but beggars can’t be choosers I suppose. Pokken Tournament DX is a revamped version of Pokken Tournament that released all the way back in 2015: It will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch and will be launching on September 22nd.
Although the majority of fans were hoping for the announcement of the highly anticipated “Pokemon Stars”, Nintendo announced that Pokemon Ultra Moon and Pokemon Ultra Sun, which are essentially updated versions of the previous games, will be coming to the 3DS on November 17. Not much information was offered about these games, but hopefully, more information will follow at E3 2017. Until then, stay tuned for the latest and greatest news.
