Maybe It Was All Those Events
Or maybe it’s just how addicting it is. Whatever it is, Pokemon Go has been downloaded more than 650 million times. Niantic Labs announced this yesterday during Google Developer Day at the 2017 Game Developer’s Conference (GDC).
Wait, Only 650 Million?
To most people, this many downloads seems like the dream. However, Pokemon Go reported more than 500 million downloads back in September. In the last four months, the number has only gone up by 150 million.
In an effort to entice more people to play the game, Niantic is hard at work with events and updates. They already got a head start by adding the Second Generation Evolution items, as well as regional exclusives. And that’s not including the 80 new pokemon to catch.
What About You?
Are you still playing Pokemon Go, or has your playing all but halted over the last few months? Is it probable for you to go back to the game if enough events and updates continue?
