The Nintendo press conference at E3 2017 has concluded, and not much was to be said about Pokemon, most likely due to the Nintendo Direct live stream weeks earlier that revealed Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon as well as Pokken Tournament DX. Although we didn’t get any official title or gameplay reveals, The Pokemon Company’s CEO and President, Tsunekazu Ishihara, did reveal that there will be a major entry in the Pokemon series coming to the Nintendo Switch in the future.

Although virtually no details were shared about this mysterious Pokemon game, we do know that it will be an RPG. Fan’s were definitely disappointed that a Pokemon RPG for the Switch wasn’t revealed at Nintendo Direct, and this is most likely an answer to the fans concerns. At least now we know that there will be something to look forward to in the Pokemon universe coming to the Nintendo Switch, hopefully in the near future.
