Looking to expand your chitin covered collection? Pokémon GO is hosting a new event, all about bug-type Pokémon!

The event was announced on the Pokémon GO live blog. Starting today, April 2, from 1 PM PDT until Tuesday, April 9, 1 PM PDT, trainers will see a new surplus of bug-types around the world. They will appear more frequently in the wild, insense will last twice as long and summon even more Pokémon than normal, and new field research will become available.

That’s it! No complicated ideas or particular Pokémon to strive for. This is just a week of appreciating an often overlooked Pokémon type. Happy hunting, trainers!
