Another major IP has come to join the ranks of AR gaming, with Jurassic World Alive.

The Android/iOS title Developed by Ludia will have the player take the role of a new recruit in the Dinosaur Protection Group (DPG). Your goal is to track down dinosaurs and capture them to save them from extinction. Using DNA samples you can combined dinos into new hybrids. Players can also pit their dinos against each other in multiplayer combat.

In a press release, Universal and Ludia said players will track their Jurassic prey with a drone, and must track down supply drops in-game to earn in-game currency and battery life for that drone.

Can it stand up to Pokemon GO, the king of mobile AR games? Only time will tell.
