In a weirdly low-key announcement, The final forme of the extraterrestrial DNA Pokémon Deoxys is available now for EX Raid trainers. Get ready for Deoxys Speed Forme!

This is the fourth and final forme for the Pokémon. The last time we saw it was last March, where the Defense Forme began to appear in EX Raid battles. In an unexpected tweet by the official Pokémon GO Twitter account, The Speed Forme is available right now in the same format.

Starting today, Trainers who receive EX Raid Passes will encounter Speed Forme Deoxys in EX Raids! Hope you can keep up with this fast Pokémon. ??

Deoxys originates as a space virus that crashed to Earth from a meteor. After exposure to a laser beam, it underwent a sudden mutation, becoming Deoxys. Highly intelligent and capable of psychokinetic abilities, it’s central brain appears to be the crystalline organ in its chest. It’s known to alter its form to best fit the situation. Its speed forme takes on a slender, more aerodynamic look, with notably more black on its body than with other forms. This implies that Deoxys sacrificed armor and strength in order to move faster.

It struck us as odd that this is the only announcement made about the Pokémon. In all of the past formes, Deoxys was announced with their own announcements on the Pokémon GO Live blog. The posts provided more details about the event, like how long they will be available. This time, all we got was the tweet above.

As such, we cannot confirm how long Deoxys Speed Forme will be available.
