Two new domain names have been registered recently, both reportedly belonging to Nintendo. This has sparked further interest in either a new Pokémon game, or even a new Pokémon Go online feature.
The reason people suspect it’s related to Pokémon Go is due to the domains in question. http://pokemonletsgopikachu.com and http://pokemonletsgoeevee.com. “Pokemon Lets Go” is fairly close to Pokémon Go. While this isn’t much to go off of. There’s nothing else to speculate on at this time.
The registration was first found by Pokekalos, a French fan site that later announced the discovery on Twitter. The two domains are registered by CSC Corporate Domains, the company Nintendo used to register the domain sites for Pokémon Sun and Moon. According to the listings, the registrations were made on May 15, the same day that a number of Pokémon related leaks and rumors began to appear.
Currently, both websites link to a blank white webpage. Nothing can be parsed from the webpage’s source code either, which consists of a single line of code.
