You thought things went wild when Deoxys appeared in its attack forme? Well buckle up, because Giratina is back in its Origin Forme!

Giratina, the antimatter Pokémon, is the celestial beast of dimensions. Originally seen in it’s Altered Forme, it walked on land with six legs. But upon entering the Distortion World, a narrative landscape from the Gen 4 games, Giratina becomes aggressively protective of its homeworld, reverting to the Origin Forme. This serpent-like shape had new stats and abilities.

Giratina originally appeared in Pokémon GO as the Altered Forme. Now the Pokémon has returned in both Altered and Origin Formes for a limited time in Raid Battles.

• Giratina (Altered Forme): Mar 28, at 1 p.m. PDT to Apr 2, at 1 p.m. PDT
• Giratina (Origin Forme): Apr 2, at 1 p.m. PDT to Apr 29, at 1 p.m. PDT

Giratina is a Ghost and Dragon-type, a rare combination. It also it the only Pokémon in the franchise that can learn the move Shadow Force. This will no doubt be a challenge for trainers of all levels. Good luck!
