The Big 21!

Get ready to use that #PokemonDay folks. February 27 is Pokemon’s 21st birthday! Feel old yet? We sure do.

To honor the event, The Pokemon Company is holding some events on the big day. You can read up on them on the official Pokemon website, but here’s a rundown:

• Feb. 26, from 1 P.M. until March 6 at 1 P.M. all wild Pikachu will wear party hats.
• Pokemon TV will have movies available Feb. 27, including Pokemon: The First Movie (the saddest one), Pokemon 4Ever and Pokemon—Zoroark: Master of Illusions.
• Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel will be available on iTunes and Amazon Video beginning Feb. 27.
• Hours of matches will be streaming on the Twitch account.
• A special edition New Nintendo 3DS XL, with a Pikachu theme, will go on sale February 24th!
