So far, Pokemon GO has spent all its time on our phones. This way, we’ve been able to take the game everywhere we go. That’s pretty much the entire point of it in the first place. However, what if there’s another place for it? If so, what better place than the upcoming Nintendo Switch?

It’s true that Pokemon GO isn’t really a Nintendo product, but there’s good reason for these two working together. Nintendo hasn’t seen a lot of success lately, and Pokemon GO could always use another boost. Considering that the Nintendo Switch is a hybrid portable console, a travel-themed game would be a good idea.

On the other hand, if Nintendo was interested in Pokemon GO, then why isn’t is already on the 3DS? I’d think that we would have seen that version of Pokemon GO far before a Nintendo Switch port. Then again, only time can really tell.
