Legendary Pokemon have been highly requested and anticipated in Pokemon Go since it’s release and it’s entirely fitting that they would finally be added in year two. Since Niantic is making efforts to grow the player base and recruit new customers, legendary Pokemon are obviously the perfect attraction for would-be customers or returning players.

Although it has been rumored for quite some time, it has finally been confirmed that legendary Pokemon will be coming to Pokemon Go this summer. In a recent interview with Brazilian newspaper OGlobo, a Niantic official has confirmed that we will finally get the chance to catch the elusive legendary Pokemon. Although some of the interview may have been lost because of Google Translate, this is the most solid confirmation we’ve received regarding Legendary Pokemon.
