If you didn’t get the chance to capture Articuno, you’re going to have to wait a little bit. Moltres, the Fire-type Legendary bird, has officially taken Articuno’s spot in Tier 5 Raid Battles. Moltres is the mascot for Team Valor and is easily my favorite of the three birds. If you want to look right here, we put together a very small guide to taking down Moltres.

In addition to that list, you can also use Lugia. If you were able to capture a Lugia and raise its CP to incredibly heights, the Hydro Pump move will be able to chunk Moltres fairly quickly. A Tyranitar with Stone Edge is still better, but a Lugia Hydro Pump is the next best thing. Get out their and starting capturing Moltres right now!

Articuno wasn’t around for long, and Moltres won’t be either! It’s only a matter of time until Zapdos shows up, so make sure you catch the Fire-type as quickly as you can! Happy hunting trainers!
