It’s a new year! And to celebrate it, Pokémon GO has a new loading screen. But it’s more than just a fireworks show. Those with a closer eye might have noticed some secrets hiding in the crowd.

In the image, displayed above, we see Pikachu, Eevee, Electivire, Lucario, Swinub, Spoink, and Grumpig. While that seems normal enough, players are noticing that the only Pokémon in that list that are not regular viewers are pigs. Pikachu and Eevee are flagship characters, and Lucario and Electivire were both in recent load screens themselves.

It’s also worth noting that 2019 is the year of the pig under the Chinese Zodiac. The three Pokémon new to loading screens were all pigs. While this isn’t solid evidence of what we can expect. It does point toward the idea of a new event centered around the Swiney breed of Pokémon.
