Have you locked down Moltres through Field Research yet? You might be too late by now. The Pokemon Go Twitter announced that the Field Research tasks will reset on May 1, at 1:00 P.M. PDT.

“Get ready for more Field Research tasks in May! On May 1 at 1:00 P.M. PDT, a brand-new set of Field Research tasks focusing on Flying- & Electric-type Pokémon will become available, including skill-based tasks that will challenge your abilities as a Trainer.”

Based on the context, and image, we can assume that these will result in Zapdos becoming available to the player. This also means that Moltres will soon be unavailable. If you haven’t started the Field Research trees yet, today (Thursday, April 26) is the latest you can begin, and still access Moltres before the reset.

If you’re fine without the fire bird, then stock up on Pokeballs and Razz Berries, cause Zapdos is on the way. Good luck, trainers.
