Since Pokemon GO launched, players have been waiting for a lot of things. Among them are pvp battling, trading, legendaries, and shinies. Up to now, none of these things have been confirmed or given any kind of time frame. But you wouldn’t think that by looking at the landscape of Pokemon GO news.

Sites from all over the place are making bold claims about upcoming updates. Some state that players can expect to be battling and trading soon. Others insist that legendary and shiny Pokemon are being released by the next update. However, there’s one thing all of these sites have in common.

None of those claims have any kind of real weight to them. The most these sites can offer is that the information has been leaked by an inside source. Forgive me if I’m wrong, but that doesn’t seem like enough of a reason to assume such big things are coming. At best, all these articles are trying to do is generate clicks. Nothing more.
