Congratulations trainers! As a reward for completing all three parts of the most recent Pokémon GO Global Challenge, Niantic is rewarding us with the Ultra Bonus. Throughout all of September 2019, a variety of new events will unfold, concluding in the release of the Legendary Wish Pokémon, Jirachi.

Event 1: Johto Journey

The first event starts on September 2, and runs for one week (ends on September 9). During this time, a selection of Second-Gen Pokémon will appear more frequently in eggs, legendaries will appear in Raid Battles, and shiny variants might even appear.

• More Johto Pokémon will appear in eggs.
• Unown forms U, L, T, R, and A have a rare chance of hatching from 10km eggs.
• Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will appear in Raid Battles, along with other Johto Pokémon.
• Shiny Sentret and Shiny Gligar have a rare chance of appearing.

Week 2: Global Hatches

This week, Pokémon from all around the world will hatch from eggs. No longer do you have to travel to Japan just to find that last regional exclusive, you could hatch one. And who better to mark a global gathering than our own alien, Deoxys?

Start: September 9, 2019
End: September 16, 2019

• Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros will hatch from 7 KM eggs.
• There is a rare chance for one of those Pokémon to hatch as a shiny.
• All of Deoxys’ forms will appear, for the first time, in standard Raid Battles.

Note: These Pokémon will be available from eggs until the end of the third week, while Deoxys will only be for the duration listed in Week 2.

Week 3: Unova Unveiling

Johto had its turn. Now Unova gets the spotlight. During this time, Unova Pokémon will appear in the wild, along with some shinies and the one and only Mewtwo!

Start: September 16, 2019
End: September 23, 2019

• Unova Pokémon will appear in the wild.
• Mewtwo with special move Psystrike will appear in five star Raid Battles, with a rare chance of being shiny.
• Klink will appear in Raid Battles, with a rare chance of being shiny.
• Rare chance of shiny Patrat and shiny Lillipup will appear in the wild.

All Month: Jirachi and Effective Incubators

Events aside, players will unlock a new set of special research, which will result in the chance to capture the Wish Pokémon Jirachi. Completing the research will provide Jirachi candy, as well.

Incubators will also be twice as effective. So get hatching!
