Like with most modern trends, it’s often misunderstood by previous generations. Rock music was once seen as sinful and reading used to be considered lazy. Even today, the discussions on whether or not video games are bad rages on. Though one Ohio judge doesn’t resist these new trends, but embraces them.
Barberton Judge David Fish, age 59, is an avid Pokémon GO player. He can often be found along the shores of Lake Anna, searching for the next water type he finds. Fish has recently reached level 40, the maximum achievable level in the game. He takes pride in having caught over 350 different Pokémon.
Fish had gotten into the game around its launch when his partner’s two sons, age 19 and 22, had shown great interest. He found it as a good way to get outside and be more active.
So far, Fish hasn’t spent any money on the game. He stated that all you need is a smartphone to enjoy it fully.
It’s good to see that Pokémon GO can be enjoyed by folks of all ages.
