Pokemon GO may be getting a section for news. According to the minds over at The Sliph Road, coding for this change was included during the last update. The news feature would likely be a way to keep users up to date on the official goings on of Niantic Labs and Pokemon GO. This would mean updates, event launches, and more.

So far, trainers have had to use the internet to get all of their official Pokemon GO news. They’ve had to either head over to the official blog or take the word of third parties.
