Pokemon Fest is going to be crazy this weekend, and not just for those attending the event in Chicago. If you love Pokemon Go, there are many different reasons you should be logging into your account this weekend, no matter where you live! For phase one, we have the Pokemon Go Catch Challenge. This begins on Saturday, July 22 at 10 a.m. EST. There will be three windows for the catch challenge, and each window will last 30 minutes. They windows, in order, are 10 a.m. EST, 12 p.m. EST, and 2 p.m.

In these time frames, you must catch any many Pokemon as possible. Everybody playing at this time has the chance to be a part of the challenge and players will receive rewards depending on how many Pokemon they ended up with. Bronze reward increases all bonus durations by 24 hours, silver reward increases durations by 48 hours, and gold reward gives players a special mystery challenge.

Phase two is only for people attending the event and will include a legendary Raid Battle. If you aren’t at the event, don’t worry at all. Phase three starts on July 23, and the legendary that was at Pokemon Go Fest will appear in every single gym around the world. It will only last for 24 hours, so you have to be on your toes.
