Gen 2 Has Arrived
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know about Pokemon Go’s Gen 2. If not, check out our previous article and learn all about how to evolve Gen 1 Pokemon into Gen 2. Check a complete Gen 2 list for reference as well.
As if that wasn’t enough to go on, some players have yet another thing to keep track of: two new regional exclusives.
Getting Regional
By this point, we know about Tauros in the U.S., Mr. Mine in Europe, Farfetch’d in Asia, Kangaskhan in Australia, Heracross in Central America, South America and parts of Florida and Texas, as well as Corsola sandwiched between 31N and 26 S latitudes.
But now, with Gen 2, there’s two non-Legendary Pokemon still yet to be found. As far as we know, no one has caught Delibird and Smeargle yet. It is speculated that Delibird is the regional exclusive for the Arctic, or at least saved for a holiday event, because he’s the “delivery Pokemon.”
