If you’ve recently logged in to Pokemon Go, I’m sure you’ve noticed that the gym feature is currently down for maintenance. Niantic has been talking about doing a huge remodeling of the gym system for quite some time, and now we might finally be getting it. This was supposed to be a part of their big Summer plans, and maybe the big plans are about to kick off once and for all!

With the major live event being planned in Chicago, we have no idea what we might see. It has also been rumored that with this Summer update, we are finally going to get our hands on some Legendary Pokemon. While we don’t know for sure if there will be a Legendary in Chicago, there is a chance that we might see one.

Seeing as how there is a ton of stuff in store for this game, we never really know what update we’re going to be getting. There have been plans to implement PvP battles, trading, a new way to fight in the gym, Legendary Pokemon, all sorts of stuff. Hopefully this is the beginning of a giant roll of content, but we just aren’t sure yet. More information will be available in the coming days, so make sure you stay around and refresh often!
