The numbers are in. Pokemon GO helped make Niantic Labs nearly $1 billion in sales in 2016. While that’s not entirely surprising, it is a cause for celebration. Pokemon GO was wildly popular when during last Summer. Sales figures this high means that the game has held enough of a strong user base to keep moving up.

The profit from these sales is most definitely well-earned by Niantic. Pokemon GO did get a bit of a rocky start, but they’ve risen to the challenge of consistent updates for the past several months. It seem that this effort has not gone unrewarded.

You’re gonna need a bigger case.

The best part is that Pokemon GO was launched around the middle of last year. If it had launched any earlier, it may have surpassed that billion mark. Then again, it’s tough to be upset at all with this kind of success. Keep up the good work, Niantic.
