Pokemon Go was the first Pokemon game to get people out in the real world. Catching Pokemon now meant going out into the streets instead of sitting comfortably on your couch. It was the first and only Pokemon title to actually immerse people in the game. Thanks to the AR camera, it actually felt like you were hunting for Pokemon in the modern day world.
As Pokemon Go was a worldwide phenomenon in terms of its popularity, it was a matter of time before somebody made a video about Pokemon Go in a real life scenario. This video is pretty old, but I was astounded to see how many views it actually collected since it’s a pretty short, low-budgeted and rather simple video. The basic premise is that of course most Pokemon, such as a Pikachu, could easily kill usĀ if we tried to harm or enslave them.
I’m not claiming to be a genius or anything, but I could also think of some other pretty conflicting factors about Pokemon Go in real life. How about the fact that these creatures wouldn’t be animated in real life, and there for, a lot different looking, not to mention terrifying. I’m pretty sure no human would chase an animal that can shoot lightning at will. Skunks basically just fart on people, and that’s enough to send us running when we see one.
Anyway, not trying to poke holes or anything, but I thought these were some fair points to mention.
