A new update has been released for Pokémon Go, making it even easier to make new friends.
In the latest update (Version 0.117.2 for Android), Pokémon Go now supports QR codes for registering with friends. This means no longer swapping between the twitter app and the game in order to type out the screenshot of players’ friend codes.
Alongside this change, Niantic has also introduced new boxes in the Pokémon Go store section. These new boxes are slight changes from before, such as raid passes in the Ultra Box dropping from 12 to 10, while insense was replaced with star pieces.
