So the Apple show was this week. We all learned quite a bit about Apple’s future plans. Mostly, though, people have only been focusing on the tragedy of the missing headphone jack. If you can work past the internet’s outrage about that, you may have seen the part where Niantic showed up. They were actually a pretty big highlight of the show. Why were they there? To promote Pokemon GO for the Apple Watch.

Hacks! I call hacks!

You probably saw this coming. Even with the Pokemon GO Plus coming out next week, this move was inevitable. The only question now is who all else will join the playing field? Fitbit has been working to get Niantic’s attention. Other than that, though, who knows?
