Nothing stops the fire in a Pokemon Trainer than seeing the map light up with Pidgeys. The same works with Zubats and Rattatas too. Pretty much any of those annoyingly common Pokemon. They’ve been so common that they notoriously get in the way of the rarer ones. Nothing is more frustrating than accidentally tapping a Pidgey who just happens to be blocking a fading Lapras.
However, there’s some fantastic news. Based on a new update, from now on, we should be running into those common Pokemon at more manageable levels.
This is a fantastic change to catching in Pokemon GO. It’s understood that balancing common and uncommon Pokemon is a difficult task, but this is surely a step in the right direction. I doubt this will be the end-all-be-all fix for all the game’s issues, but I’m definitely excited to see some variety to the game maps.
