There are several cardinal rules to Pokemon. You gotta catch ’em all. Keep your Pokeballs clean. Don’t leave your infants and toddlers all alone. Okay, that last one isn’t for Pokemon. It’s more for parenting. Another rule is that your children are more important than Pokemon.
Two parents in San Tan Valley, Arizona abandoned their 2-year-old child to play Pokemon GO. They didn’t go into the next room in order to reach the nearby Pokestop. They walked around their neighborhood. For 90 minutes. In Arizona heat. Outside. The toddler was eventually seen by a neighbor. He was outside and trying frantically open the locked door to his house. The neighbor called police who showed up on the scene and helped the 2-year-old. Don’t worry, his parents definitely got arrested.
