As it turns out, meddling with the natural balance of things tends to upset certain Pokémon. The legend of the sky Rayquaza has returned once again. And this time, it could be shiny.
According to an announcement on the Pokémon GO Live blog, Rayquaza has returned for a limited time once again, following the recent sightings of the diety’s two counterparts, Groudon and Kyogre. Rayquaza is said to have lived in the sky, above the ozone layer for millions of years, only descending to restore the balance between the other two legendaries.
Raqyuaza Date, Time Details
- Start Date: Wednesday, July 31, 2019
- End Date: Monday, September 2, 2019
During this time, the Dragon- and Flying-Type Pokémon will appear in five star Raid Battles. Unlike before, there is a chance that the Pokémon will be a shiny, showing off a black, red, and yellow color scheme instead of the traditional green.
We recommend Ice, Rock, and Dragon-type Pokémon for the fight since that is their weakness. Legendaries are no joke, I hope you’re prepared.
Good luck, trainers!
