We’ve all been there. We’re staring at a CP 424 Eevee. The bar is at at least 80% of the way to max. We want to evolve it. We really really do. We’ve even named the Eevee “Rainer” to ensure we get Vaporeon. But we just can’t bring ourselves to push that button, because how do we know it’s really worth it?

At least it can’t accidentally turn into this.

Well now there’s help for that. Say hello to the Pokemon GO Toolkit. Though it promises more features later, right now it has a functioning Evolution Calculator. All you have to do is choose the Pokemon, put in its current CP, and click Evolve. The results show a full breakdown of names, expected CP, requirements for evolution, and maximum allowed CP of all evolved forms of the Pokemon. It even shows you the multiplier that enhances the CP during evolution. Now, there’s no more guesswork about it. Unless you consider using the Toolkit as cheating. In that case, it’s back to the drawing board.
