Orchestral versions of old/retro video game soundtracks have become very popular over the last couple of years, and now, a Kickstarter Campaign for a Pokemon Gold and Silver orchestral vinyl album has almost reached its goal, with just 5 days left and less than $3000 to go. The album currently exists on Soundcloud, but only with virtual instrumentation. If the $30,000 goal is met, the whole album will be re-recorded with a real live orchestra and made into a vinyl album.

The orchestra playing in the album specializes in video game soundtracks, and they have previously worked on games such as Destiny and Minecraft. This album is definitely a must-have collector’s item for hardcore Pokemon fans, so if you’re interested, consider sharing the Kickstarter page and helping it come to reality.
