IV appraisals are here! Well, they’ve kinda been here, but they were third party. So now that Niantic has shut down all of those, they’ve made their own official ones! Players now have the ability to hear what their own team leaders have to say about their Pokemon. What they have to say directly correlates with what IV percentile your Pokemon fits into. Since I am part of Team Mystic, let’s see what Blanche has to say!

Mystic is pretty much the only team that matters anyway, right?

I know that the IV descriptions are actually really helpful. However, I admit that I’m most excited about the assessment for Pokemon size. As far as I know, that has no bearing whatsoever in the game. I just love how they have Blanche go out of her way to explain that every single Pokemon in my inventory is tinier than any she has on record. Adorable as well as astounding.
