The season of discovery has begun. But don’t get too excited, the season is starting off slowly with the Very Slow Discovery event. The following week will be full of the lackadaisical Slowpoke, and all of its forms.

A Very Slow Discovery Event Date and Times

The event will begin on Tuesday, June 8 at 10 AM and will last until Sunday, June 13 at 8 PM.

A Very Slow Discovery Event Details

During this time, Slowpoke will invade the land of Pokémon GO. Not just their standard form, however. You can expect to see Slowpoke, Slowbro, and Slowking. And for the first time, you’ll also see their Galarian forms. Mega Raids will also include Mega Slowbro.

They won’t be the only ones, of course. There will be a variety of uncommon Pokémon appearing in the wild and in raid battles during the event. This includes Slakoth, Gulpin, Spoink Vigoroth, Alolan Grimer, Shellder, Shinx, Timburr, Snorlax, Slaking, and Toxicroak.

There will be event exclusive field research, collection challenges, avatar items, and gift stickers, as well. Don’t forget to check the shop for a free gift box containing Pokéballs and a Kings Rock.

Normally, we like to express urgency when participating in events. But it only feels appropriate to say to take it slow with this one.
