April showers, May flowers, and other seasonal aspects! Pokémon GO is celebrating mother nature with new Limited time research. And what a better pal to headline the research than Lotad, the rain dish Pokémon?

Niantic recently announced a new Limited Research with a focus on Grass and Water type Pokémon. Spin the discs at PokéStops to gather the research tasks and keep your eyes out for the various Pokémon that are affected by the weather (cough cough, Castform).

The Limited Research will take place from 11 AM to 8 PM on March 30, Saturday. They really meant limited.

During this time, Pokémon more likely to appear due to weather conditions will appear even more frequently. Completing the Research tasks will award trainers with a Lotad encounter. “If you’re lucky, you may encounter Shiny Lotad and Shiny Castform in its Normal form!“

This will also be the first time the move Weather Ball is added to Castform’s ability list.

Important note: You only need to collect the Limited Research during the event time frame. After that, you can take as long as you’d like to complete them and get the rewards.
