A new wave of shiny Pokémon is appearing in Pokémon GO!

The official Twitter account for the popular mobile game recently posted an announcement, citing new shiny Pokémon, such as Natu and Sunkern. Though users are reporting other new shinies, such as Wynatt. The number of shiny Pokémon appearing on average are also seemingly higher than normal.

So far, there have been reports of shiny Natu, Sunkern, Wynatt, and Pineco. The pattern appears to be based on Pokémon found in the forest, though this is merely speculation.
