Are you rough? How about tough? Do you need more reasons to play Pokemon Go? If you said yes to any of these questions, then read on! Developer Niantic has announced a special battle event, based on Fighting-type Pokemon.

The event began on Monday and goes until May 14. During this time, Machop, Makuhita, and other Fighting-type Pokémon will appear more frequently throughout the game. Since this is a battle, Gyms yield additional benefits. Not only will you be given 3,000 Stardust for participating in a Gym or Raid battle at some point, you’ll also receive a Rare Candy if you win! Any battles after that will reward you with 2× bonus XP for said battles.

There are spoils to be reaped, even if you don’t battle. Double badges are given for frequently visited Gyms, and additional items can be found when spinning the Gym’s Photo Disc.

Even if you’re simply a collector, this event might be the last push you need to get those otherwise uncommon Fighting-type Pokemon.
